UTI (still after antibiotics) and sad :(

3 weeks post-op today- vag hyst-and gallbladder (lap removed). Went to ob with uti symptoms at last weeks check- tomorrow last day of antiobiotics and still feel the need to urinate all the time, and pressure when I do- still feel "heavy" sensation and sporadic pain in my lower abdomen. To make matters worse- I'm sensitive and sad, and cry daily- I was able to keep one ovary- is this normal? Any one with one or both things they can relate to?

Re: UTI (still after antibiotics) and sad :(

Hang in there my sister This stuff is tough but it will eventually all be sorted out. I didn't have a UTI but I still feel like I need to pee all the time and not too much happens...some pain and pressure sometimes. I have had a couple days of sadness and wanting to cry all day, it's very normal after all we've been through. I keep my list of supportive friends near me and call when I need to talk. I also have favorite books, movies...everything I can find to cheer myself up. Sometimes a nap helps the most. You are not alone in this
