Weepy ended up in the ER
Hi Ladies,
I ended up in the emergency room Tuesday night because of the gas. I was doing really well on the citrucel especially with the gas and low and behold it came back Tuesday night and was caught in my stomach and I couldnt move it anywhere. It was excruciating!!!! Ended up having an x-ray. Everything was fine no blockage or obstruction but did have a ton of poop in me. I can not figure this out since I have a BM every morning and sometimes another in the afternoon. When I first came home from the hospital I cleaned myself out almost everyday the first week. So guess what I am doing today????......you guessed it pooping Took Milk of magnesia . I am starting to get sick of it though. I need some sleep tonight. I have not had much sleep in the past 3 weeks because of this gas problem so hopefully this is the cure!!!!! I will let ya know. So ladies you may be filled with poop if you continue to have gas like me. Well I think the toilet is calling.......... Weepy

Weepy ended up in the ER
Hi weepy
I have heard of others who went to the ER with pain from gas that was trapped like that. I know it can be excruciating. I'm sorry it happened to you. I hope you're feeling better now. Let us know how the MOM treatment turned out. Sometimes we need drastic measures. Rest and take care now.
's, Rita

1. Are you drinking enough water in a day? You need to stay hydrate to help the bowels. To insure you have enough fill bottles that have a total of 64 ounces minimum and insure by the end of the day that was finished. Aim for at least 64 ounces of water.
2. Magnesium is usually needed in the body (ask your doctor). It helps with calcium absorption if you are taking Calcium. It will also help with the poops because it has a softening affect. Again ask your doctor but I took 500mg and no problem.
3. Make sure you have enough FIBER in your diet. If you do not read labels. Start. You need about 18-25grams of fiber every day. Fiber one cereal is actually pretty good and has about 14grams in I think a 1/4 cup (check the label). Fiber helps the bowels too.

Some chips and crackers have fiber, too, but watch your portioning. Avoid cheese.
