digestive tract?

Hey everyone...think I am doing quite well eight days post-op, of course dont have much to compare it with...I have lost nine pounds..still have the most God awful metallic taste in my mouth...smoke free for 12 days...thank goodness...but what an ordeal to either Urinate or have a Bm.....urinating is fine until the last 30 seconds and the pressure will double me over...bowel movements are a three hour ordeal because of the pressure...any suggestions? other than the dog jumping up on me I think I am doing well...what do you think?

digestive tract?

Hi!

You are still very early in your recovery and you sound good. You might want to let your doctor know about the pressure you are feeling when you urinate or have a BM. It may be nothing, but it's better to be safe than sorry.

Maybe someone around here has experienced a similiar thing and will share their experience with you.

Congratulations on being smoke-free! Way to go!

Best wishes for a good recovery!
