10 weeks post hysterectomy - sore breasts?

Hi All,

I had my hysterectomy may 23. I am back to work, no pain or bleeding. The question I have is does anyone else get really sore breast I have sore breasts and I seem to be very tired and I wasnt before. I am unable to get the weight off also. I go to work and come home , eat and go to bed.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Tina are you on any HRT ?

Mine were sore for about a week three weeks post-op to the point that my shirt touching them would about send me through the roof. My understanding is if you kept one or both ovaries you will still continue to have PMS symptoms - mood swings, sore breasts, ovulation pain, etc you just can't have a period at the end.

I have lost a few pounds since my surgery and am having up and down days as far as energy. Monday I didn't feel good so I just laid around most of the day. Yesterday I felt beyond great and vacuumed, did laundry, dishes, some exercising, and weeded for about two hours. Today I'm so-so and have done laundry, dishes, and some exercising.

Thanks for the info. I was getting ready to ask about PMS symptoms. Now to start tracking when they occur.
