I'm new here, LAVH Sept 11, Nervous!!

Hi, Ladies

I've been looking around on this site for several days and I think its a wonderful place for support. I had a visit with my OB/GYN today and was scheduled for LAVH on Sept. 11th. I'm just looking for any support or suggestions you have.

Everyone I talk to says that ïts the best thing that they have ever done, and I know it will be for me as well. But that doesn't make the getting there any easier.

Nice to see someone else post that is so close by. I live in Tallahassee. I drive through Perry at least twice a year to get to Cedar Key - my most favorite place in the world. Very relaxing and I plan on going there for a bit to recuperate.

This web site is fabulous and I hope you log on often. It has kept me from going nuts and obcessing about what can go wrong. Lots of questions answered.

Are you having your surg in Tallahassee or Perry?

Thanks for posting to me. I will be having surgery in Tallahassee at Community Hospital, Dr. Michael Douso. He is WONDERFUL!!!

Keep me posted on your approaching date and recovery. I'll be thinking of you on the 25th!

You are now the third of us who are having surgery on 9/11 I am so glad to have the two of you traveling this road with me on that day. (you , me and Lisa T)

There is so much here to read here and the sisters are wonderful!!!!!
