The last period from ****!!

Okay ladies since you all have been so nice to take the fear and aprehension about the upcoming surgery maybe you can help me make it till Wends. when I will probably flip out on my dr. I had a lap. on the 19th for endometriosis. They also put dye in my tubes and flushed them.

My problem is I have never had a laperoscopy that I didn't bleed afterwards. This time I didn't and then I start this mystery fever of 100.8 - 101.3 with craps that are worse than anything before. I talked to the nurse yesterday and today and she said it was all normal. What has been other's reaction after lap.

I am looking forward to this being the last month to have one of these!!! I was supposed to start yesterday but according to "Nurse No Personality" it is okay that I am late! UGH!

The last period from ****!!

I've only ever had one laparoscopy, on 11/2. He looked around and did a tubal. Also had a hysteroscopy at the same time, with D&C and partial removal of a fibroid. I had some bleeding (on pad +/-) that night from the D&C, but nothing after that until my regular period came along 3 weeks later. I didn't have any cramping or discomfort (other than from the incisions) from the whole thing. My period was crampy though, as usual.

I did have a low fever afterward. My sister (the nurse) thought it was that I wasn't breathing enough after general anesthesia. I started taking really deep breaths every few minutes and the fever went away. 101.3 sounds a bit high. I'd at least take vitamin C and get to bed (and breathe). If it doesn't go down pretty darned quick I'd call first thing in the morning and fuss about it.
