Back vs side sleeping

I am a side sleeper too. My first couple weeks, I slept on my back, with my knees propped up with a pillow tucked under them. That took the pressure off my back and neck. I also used an extra pillow at my head.

Back vs side sleeping

I am a side sleeper - since the hospital I use a "snoogle" which is designed for pregnant women however works perfect for it supports the belly, head and elevates your feet some.

Good luck with as much time you need to take to rest you need to be comfy

Back vs side sleeping

Thanks for the pillow idea. I was more concerned about my insides hurting from shifting to the side at night and then waking up in pain.

Back vs side sleeping

I am a side sleeper and was able to sleep on my side from the very beginning by doing what Aware does with the lower leg straight and the upper leg bent and resting on a pillow. Good luck!

Back vs side sleeping

My sister gave me a body pillow before the Castle trip. First time I curled up with it, I gave it the name Hubby 2, and told Hubby 1 he has to share me from now on! I'm also a side sleeper, so I really had to rely on pillows. Turning over was a *****; found out if I held the pillow to me and turned just a little at a time, it was ok. I'd even grab part of the bottom sheet and pull, which assisted the turn. It still isn't comfortable when I lay on my back, it feels like nothing wants to settle into place inside.
