Home from Castle!

Well, I am home as scheduled (4 days later). I had Dilaudid (special order) in my PCA pump w/ Toradol as needed thru IV and a Styker pump directly into my incision. That was the BIGGEST help cause now that I'm home my incision hurts ALOT. I think the tummy binder will be my new best friend. The doc said I had 6 large fibroids and some endo on my right ovary - he lasered that off and left both ovaries. We won't get the adeno diagnosis until we get the full path report. I go back to him a week from wed to get the staples out (all 23 of them).
Oh - wanted to state that I only had the catheter for one full day. I have not had ONE problem from my bladder thus far - YEAH!!!!
Well - going back to bed for now - will write more later - my incision is hurting again.

Welcome Home!! Take good care of yourself. I am really interested in how you got the special order meds, I am allergic to all the standards. I hope I can ask you when you are up to it! Good news on your bladder, and on keeping your ovaries!

Blessings to you!

home.
I had quite a bit of pain with my incision too, I can't take many of the really effective pain meds. The good news is that it got better day by day. Be a good princess, get lots and lots of rest, take short easy walks
