Lump under incision 12 weeks after TAH

I developed a hard lump under my incision about 2 weeks ago, the area was hard and red. I walked alot that day and my general practioner thought that maybe it was inflamed scar tissue. I went to my gynecologist and he wants me to go to a wound center. He did not indicate what he thought it may be. I cannot get into the wound center until July 14th. Did anyone have something like this? The lump seems to change in size from small like a marble to larger like an apricot. I have read about hematomas and seromas but dont they usually develop sooner than 10 weeks after surgery? Please help, sometimes it is painful sometimes I dont even know it's there. If something strange can happen, it happens to me.

If it were me, I would give the office a call tomorrow and ask for some clarification.

I had a lump in my incision and the doctor told me it was scar tissue from the clamp they used to hold me open...absolutely call the doctor about it to make sure. Mine did soften up and you really can't tell it now....I'm hoping yours is just scar tissue too.
