Hi ladies, Hope you are all doing well and feeling good too. Well I had a LAVH on 8/16 and was released from the castle on 8/18 and not a day to soon, I am not a hospital person and couldnt wait to get home to heal.
I am happy to say that eveything came back squeaky clean....no cancer...thank god !
I was in surgery from 9:30am till about 3pm, I guess with removing the omentum & debulking and sending the frozen parts down to pathology all took some time.
Has anyone been experiencing any lower back pain, yep thats my minor gripe for now, my back right hip bone hurts, dont know from being in the position so long in the OR or what. As for the surgical menopause, mood swings dont seem to be in my favor ( I'm naturally moody anyways, BUT now i have an excuse) but night sweats seem to creep up on me every other night or so. Are either of these issues going to get worse over time ? Right now I am not taking any hormones at all.
