Pre-Op Tomorrow!

I have my pre-op visit with my doctor and at the hospital tomorrow morning. My long list of questions is made, and I think I'm ready. I can't believe my trip to the castle is only a week away!!!

Thanks so much to everyone for their suggestions, advice, and the sharing of your stories. It's made me more confident in my decision and much more comfortable with what's ahead.

Hi Fire!

My appointment went really well. I got a chance to ask all my questions - as a matter of fact, he was impressed with them! After my visit with my doctor, I went to the hospital for an EEG, bloodwork and to meet the anesthesiologist.

I also found out that I will be spending the night in what the Admissions clerk called 'The Hilton', the newest wing of the Women's Center of the hospital. She told me that my husband is welcome to stay with me. As a matter of fact, they encourage it!

I'm feeling better and better about this decision. Thanks for checking on me!
