less than 2 days!

Oh my Gosh!! I am so glad I found you all!!! I just found this website this morning. I need your help!!!!! I am having a partial hyst. on 3-19-01 at 9:30am. I have only had six days to prepare. At first I was so excited. The pain would be gone soon and I could finally get my life back. Well, as each day goes by and "the big day" gets closer, I am scared to death. You would not believe all the scary stuff that has been going through my mind!! I am having trouble sleeping, eating, and I have been running around my house trying to make sure I have the laundry caught up, stocked up on groceries and trying to explain to my daughter, age 10, that I will be gone for a few days. How did you all do it? Most people I have talked to at work, and family, had longer that 6 days to prepare! Any advice fast would be so helpful!!!! Thanks so much, Belinda

Six days is plenty. You've got all day Sunday! Just follow Santa's rule - make your list and check it twice.

I have learned so much on this board. The others on this site, also. It is wonderful!

And your 10 year old will take it fine. Just let her know that when you come home, you will still hurt, but the pain will begin to go away finally and you will be much better in a few weeks. Just think, you should have a great, pain free summer with her! Mine are 5 and 7 and can't wait for Mom to leave. They know how bad I feel right now.

I'M ON THE 19TH ALSO AND AM BEGINNING TO FEEL THE SAME. I'VE BEEN SCHEDULED FOR ONLY 2 WEEKS AND I KEEP SEEING POSTS FOR WEEKS IN ADVANCE. HAVING IT SO SOON IS A BLESSING IN DISGUISE.

FOR ONE, THE ANTICIPATION IS NERVE WRACKING. IT GIVES YOU LESS TIME TO WORRY AND MAKE UP WHAT IFS. YOU HAVE TO USE YOUR TIME WISELY TO GET EVERYTHING DONE WHICH GIVES YOU LESS TIME TO WORRY.

I FEEL FOR THESE WOMEN WHO HAVE WEEKS AND WEEKS TO WAIT. IT HAS TO BE HARD. SO HANG IN THERE ALL WILL BE FINE. JUST THINK, THIS TIME NEXT WEEK WE'LL BE HOME RECOVERING READY TO TELL THE WORLD ALL ABOUT IT.
