Ok so this may be a little graphic- but I have to ask...
How was your post op bleeding/discharge? I'm not looking forward to that part of it but want to be prepared. Was it heavy, moderate, last a week or two or forever????

Hi Cindy,
It depends on the surgery type, I had a TVH and bled on and off for about 5 weeks or so. I only had to wear a thin pad during those times, it wasn't heavy at any time during those 5 weeks.
Everyone is different so yours may vary some. This is just how mine was. Hope this helps you some. Take care

I'm week four post-op and still use a pantiliner because of some light bleeding and discharge due to an infection. My doctor assures me I should be pad free in a few weeks.

I had an LAVH with packing after surgery. My doctor removed the packing late evening on day two. I was expecting the worse when he removed the gauze. But to tell you the truth I was surprised at how fast it was removed. I had heard some horror stories and was expecting the worse. Just goes to show how different everyone is.

Everyone is different. I was prepared for heavy bleeding, spotting, etc. The only thing I had was a slight yellowish discharge for about 3 days and then it completely quit. I'm 9 weeks post op from having a TVH and no problems since!

I had some pinkish - to brownish discharge for the first 3 weeks post op - now I don't even wear a pantyliner. I hope that helps

Depends on the type of surgery. I had LSH/LSO (right already gone) and had very very light pinkish discharge for a couple days not even enough to wear a liner. Good luck, wishing you the best.

Very little bleeding or discharge here. I used some ultra thin pads for a couple days, but really didn't need them. I had a tvh, i think the only blood i even saw was a drop or two right after surgery.
