back pain and mood swings

I kept my ovaries so I knew I would still have PMS symptoms. What I didn't count on was the complete despair I would feel at the time of what would be my "period". I felt utterly awful--hopeless, sad, bereft. I would cry at the drop of a hat. Then I switched to raging irritable. My poor family .

Also, my lower back is killing me! I've read on here that this is due to not using your stomach muscles much. How long does this last?

I hear ya about the PMS. I have a mess with the crying both times dr. has seen me in his office I have been a mess. Poor Dr. must think I am crazy. LOL. I have had lower back pain for a couple of years due to one of my disk thinning so I can't really help you on that one. best wishes!
