Cancelled surgery.dates

How do y'all deal with multiple cancellations. My date has been moved 3 times now! The last one was 5 hours before surgery. I'm feeling very discouraged.....

Wow, sorry to hear that you're having so much trouble getting in to surgery.

Let's hope the fourth time is a charm & they will stick to it.

They've tentatively rescheduled me for the 17th. I'm so frustrated! It better happen or I'm switching hospitals.

My surgical date was also changed, but it was moved up two weeks. On that Friday I received a call from gyn saying they wanted to do surgery Tuesday if they could get operating room. They would let me know Monday. On Monday I got a call at 12:30 saying surgery was on for Tuesday at 7:30 am be there at 6:00. They had scheduled my lab work to be done in 1 1/2 hrs. I was at work , 40 miles from hospital. I got a sub quickly and it all worked out well.

At that time I thought I needed the two weeks to get ready for surgery and Christmas.

The timing of my surgery worked out perfectly. Had I kept original date of December 21, I would have missed all of our family Christmas parties. I was recovered enough to start preschool the first day after Christmas break. I am so thankful that my surgery date was changed.

I'm praying that you will also receive surgery at the perfect time.

Mine was moved 2 weeks before , in oct grrr to "some time next year" i pestered my doctor's office and got a date of March 4.. and if they move me again i will have a break down i swear! I am having it for a prolapsed Uterus and let me tell you when you stand all day.. ITS NOT GOOD! then i can't pee! and have to lay down for 2 hours before i can pee!

SO i really do feel for you having your date moved!

I also had a prolapsed uterus that had adhesions to my bladder. My bladder is so relieved since surgery. I hope you have great results with your surgery. And I hope the time goes quickly as you wait.

UPDATE!!!! Surgery was moved AGAIN!!!! This time though, it's this WEDNESDAY!! Everyone cross your fingers that there are no more hiccups because I just may loose it!
