vaginal burning 7 weeks out

well most of the bad pains are finding somewhere else to thrive (less of course I stand too long in one place and then those nasty red hot burning poker pains show up)
I started back to work this week and sometimes sitting too long at my computer makes me get all crampy but a normal kind of healing crampy
but this darn burning sensation in my vagina is driving me batty.
at my six week post op i mentioned it to the doc. she figure a mild yeast infection and gave me a script - if it was from granulation tissue (or what ever it is called that they put the silver nitrate on), you would think she would have seen it when she did the internal)
the first couple of days that the cream was inside it felt soothed and better.
now it is back to burning again (and it sort of feels swollen too) and the burning gets worse as the day goes on it seems - night being the worst
could it be just dryness? has anyone else had this and how did they fix it?

It could be dryness due to lack of estrogen in the vagina (usually treated with a small dose of vaginal estrogen cream a couple times per week), or perhaps the yeast infection never completely went away.
Regardless of what it might be, I would think a call or visit to your Dr is warranted.

take care

well ok,,, maybe this sounds stupid BUT if your cervix is gone, do you still get discharge with a yeast infection? -- can you get discharge at all anymore?? I feel stupid asking that but I really don't know the answer.
I have only ever had one yeast infection in my life and as i remember it, it was itchy as all get out and there was lots of white discharge,,,, I don't have discharge at all - absolutely nothing and no itching really either
the doc did give me five refills on the yeast script,,,, maybe I should just go fill it again and try it again to see what happnes....
