a change of emotions
Hi ,
I had a lavh keeping my ovaries on 4/4 and felt fine at first but after about 3 weeks became depressed and cry very easily, When I started to read some of the messages I realized I wasn't alone, finally after 5 1/2 weeks I don't feel as depressed still cry easily though. If you can get yourself out side for some sunshine and small walks and surrond yourself with friends..Good luck

I'm sorry your feeling emotional. Since you had your ovaries removed, are you taking HRT? You might want to mention your feelings to your doctor. If you can't or don't want to take HRT, there are other options out there you might be able to explore.
I kept my ovaries and they have been working fine since surgery, but I did find my hysterectomy to be an emotional surgery and recovery for me. It can be frustrating not being able to do those things we're used to while recovering.
Be sure to mention how you're feeling to your doctor. I hope you feel better soon!
s, Deb

So the blues are normal even with keeping your ovaries?
