Headaches and Estrogen after surgery

I have been having a bad headache at least once a week since surgery. Mine have been bad enough that they wake me up and linger for hours even after taking OTC pain relievers. When I was on birth control pills years ago, I had terrible migraines and had to get off of them. I'm six weeks post-op. Are any of you who have started taking estrogen experiencing any headaches?

I have not had the headaches since having my hyst and taking estrogen, but some do.
