so many questions

I am in my 18th day post op, and have so many questions.
I am divorced and live on my own. my DB is here at night, but during the day I am on my own. My best friend was supposed to be with me the first week I was home, but that did not happen. She did not come see me in the hospital either. But that is an other issue in its own.
I have been having severe gas pains on and off, and the tingling in my belly which I can only assume is the nerves trying to mend is annoying. I am trying not to do too much and DB will not let me lift anything when he is here. But it is hard to look around and not do anything. I think I may have slightly overdone it a little. As for the first time in 2 weeks I am debating on taking pain medication.
Also when I urinate, it is as though I have to push it out forcefully, or I am back in the bathroom 20 min later. I am probably babbling at the moment, just nerves I guess. And I know that this is not in any order. The reasons I found out that I had my hysterectomy, are the same reasons my mother had hers, when she was the same age.
Thank you for listening.

so many questions

Well I had my LSH on April 16th and still get sore from time to time when I've done too much. I have had bleeding/spotting for the last two weeks too. Yes, you need to let yourself mend so read, rent movies, surf the net, talk on the phone anything to just let yourself not look around and think you should be doing something.

Good luck and take it easy!
