Need Advice Please :)

Hi everyone, my name is Ann and I am new to this site. I have some questions and need some advice.

I recently had a complete hysterectomy. I am 32 years old. I had severe endometriosis.

Different doctors are telling me different things...some say weight gain with HRT's and some say weight loss w. HRT's. I am currently a healthy weight and dont want to gain or lose. I am an avid workout freak, (at least 6 days per week at the gym). I was on depo shots to help with "diminishing" the rest of the endometriosis and to get a little hormones in me.....I have opted to not take anything at this time, just to see how my body reacts to this all. Also, does anyone know about the estrogel stuff out on the market, prescribed by your doc?

CAN SOME OF YOU HYSTER SISTERS PLEASE GIVE ME SOME ADVICE. THANKS TO YOU ALL AND THE BEST OF LUCK...OH YOU CAN EMAIL ME TOO!
THANKS

I don't know a lot about HRT but I do know that weight gain happens if you eat more calories than you burn off. You probably don't have anything to worry about if you exercise regularly. I have a coworker that had a hysterectomy in her 30's due to endo. She never gained an ounce.

Hi DLeeS32570,

First off welcome. I don't know much about HRT yet and have been reading post in the Hormone Jungle. I would recommend that while your waiting for a response here, you also check out that part of the site and submit your question there also.

Best of luck to you.
