7 wks post op & suddenly bleeding

I need some input. My surgery was on Dec. 13. I kept my left ovary, and also ended up keeping my cervix because there was so much scarring that the dr felt it would cause more problems to remove it than it was worth.

My recovery has gone really well. Except for a resurgence in migraines, I feel fine. Well, tired a lot, but not in pain.

Yesterday, for no apparent reason, I started bleeding. I noticed it when I first got up. It's been off-and-on ever since. It's not really heavy, but it's more than spotting. It's accompanied by a new and different stabbing-throbbing very low in the center of my abdomen, especially when I move in certain ways, and lower back pain that wasn't there before.

Is this normal?

I would call your dr. in the morning. Any new pain or bleeding needs to be addressed.
