Feeling like throwing up when I stand

Had TVH yesterday morning. Last this morning my pain was able to get under control. Catheder was taken out and I have been peeing on my own and emptying my bladder so yay but when ever I get up and by the time I get back to bed I feel like throwing up. How long will thi last and I have no appetite. The nurses keep trying to get me to eat and it's the last thing I want to do. I'm just so tired

Have you told the nurses? I was horribly nauseous the day after surgery and the nurses gave me three different drugs before they found one that worked. They have to call the doctor to get something prescribed so ask them to follow through asap. For me, once they found the one that worked, I was fine in 10 minutes. Good luck with getting rid of the nausea.

I have horrible nausea after surgeries. I warned my doctors so they would all be prepared. But they were still surprised.

It dragged out so long that they had to knock me back out for 2 more hours. Finally, they found something to get the nausea controlled.

I took nausea pills at home for almost a week before I started feeling better. Otherwise, I would not have been able to eat.

Hope they get this figured out for you...

They sent me home with no antinasia meds only narcotics. I can't wait till this pain is gone

Oh I am sorry. I thought you were still at the castle. Please call your doctor and have him or her prescribe something.

If I don't throw up I think I'll be fine. If not I'll go to the ER cause everything clauses early here
