preparing a list of questions

I have a dr's appointment on Monday to schedule surgery. I was wondering how much show up on an u/s. Does Endo or other problems bladder, rectum? I know a cyst would. I want as few surprises as possible. I want to be prepared if she ask if I want to keep overies. I think some of my pain may be comming from them. I would rather have them out now then a second surgery a year from now. I am going to be 50 in a couple of months. Menopause is just around the corner anyway. Dr. said that u/s didn't look to bad except for enlarged uterus, but did not go into detail at that time. I'm wondering if anyone has pain in their hips and upper thigh mostly when trying to sleep. Or unable to lay on stomach or side with out pain. I have so many aches and pains all the time I hate to mention them all. She will think I am crazy. They may not have anything to do with needing a hytrs.

Do mention any pain you have to your dr, in case there is a connection. Some of my pains my dr says no, some he says maybe, and some is yes! So you won't know without asking.

And not everything shows up on a u/s, which is one of the reasons I had a lap before my hyst--to see what was really going on. I have endo, and it does not show up on any test. Therefore, you may want to ask your dr if she expects any suprises, and what surprises she may be looking for.
