Re: Moving to fast.

Well I put in the call to the OBGYNs office to let them know I was getting sick and thought it might be best to re schedule. They told me no to come in for my scheduled pre op on Friday the 23rd and the OBGYN would decide if I am sick. Oh and the nurse says shes always better 2 days after getting sick. lol hmm...

I will be taking my dd in to see her pcp tomorrow because I am pretty sure the bug she has is now turned into a sinus infection and bronchitis.

Re: Moving to fast.

i really love this site too.i wish i had found it before i had surgery.i didnt know what to expect.i knew it would be like a c-section but more intense.i hope you dont have to have surgery if you're getting the flu.if you're getting flu i think they would postpone with all the intense pain levels i would have hated to have mine done if i didnt feel good and your private nurses at home have to feel good too.i'll say prayer for you and a speedy recovery from all your surgeries.hugs-

Re: Moving to fast.

If you were told not to go to your pre-op on the 23rd, and your surgery is scheduled for the 26th. I don't think you'll be able to have surgery. The anesthesiologist will not put you under if you are sick in any way. And they need to see the medical clearance. I hope you get well soon. Keep us posted please. I hope your family gets over this bug soon!

Re: Moving to fast.

Sorry if my above post was unclear. They told me no they wont reschedule the surgery. To come to my scheduled pre op appointment on Friday Dec 23rd and the OBGYN would then decide if I was actually sick.

Re: Moving to fast.

Kayla,
I misunderstood your above post, as I was cooking dinner and on this site at the same time. lol I have my pre op appointment the same day as you, but my surgery is on Dec. 30th. I hope you start to feel better soon, and you don't have to reschedule your surgery, so you can get it over with and start to heal. Vitamin C is great!!! I had the flu that turned into bronchitis just 2 weeks ago. I was just miserable I was so sick I didn't even feel like going to my pcp for my appointment. :P
Feel better...
