Blurry vision and shoulder pain 3 months post Hysterectomy

It's been 3 months since my Hysterectomy and my right eye is still blurry. It started when I came out of Anesthesia with burning and blurred vision. I am thinking it is a dry eye condition. My shoulders hurt too. Almost like a shoulder injury and I relate this to my surgery as well. Does this make sense? Can it all be related to the surgery? I was fine before my Hysterectomy.

I am sorry to hear that you are still going through this experience. When you were at your last doctor’s appointment, did you bring up the blurred vision and shoulder pain…? What were your ’s thoughts?

As you progress through each week, you will notice improvements through your healing journey. With allergies and pollens being high now that it is getting to be summer time, you might need to also visit with your doctor (GP even) about eye drops or something else that might help with the burning sensation that you are getting.

You are your doctor’s patient no matter the week of recovery you are in. They will have the right questions to ask then can point you in the right direction for any referrals on other physicians to potentially see.
