Hurting after sex - should it still be this way at this point?

I had my TAH 2/23, recovery has been pretty uneventful other than fatigue and some ongoing incision pain. I thought at 8 weeks that this was normal, but even now after we have sex I hurt inside for a long time, several hours usually. We're usually pretty gentle about it, and I've not had any spotting or bleeding. Just aching inside and some random pains, even my incision feels more tender. Has anybody had the same issue? I've really been thinking that by now we'd be back to our normal sex life without pain. Not sure if I should just 'live with it' or get checked by my doctor.

Oh totally get checked by the Dr. Don't put up with painful sex. How discouraging for you. I'd see the Dr, maybe something is off and could be fixed. Thing should be better by now, hope the pain is gone soon.
