Waiting again....

Well my insurance is all figured out now and it was all "just a BIG mistake". The nurse called me from the DR office and said that the Dr wants to wait until I start my period again because it has to be within 10 days of starting for less infections. I did this already! They set my date for April 12th hoping that I will start on schedule. I am so tired of waiting, I waited from January 3rd till Feb 12 to get insurance approved than to March 9th for my period, than insurance denies everything (big mistake) now its to late this month so here I am waiting again. The Dr said he was sorry because he knows I'm in pain but I just want this overwith! I have a family that needs me and a life to live. Thanks for all your support through these times of frustration.

I honestly thought it didn't matter if you were on your period or not. That was not an issue at all. I guess everywhere is different. I know it is very frustrating for you but sometimes when you look back on things you can see that it wasn't the best timing. Good luck- cath

I'm so sorry! This is such an important thing to you and it must feel like no one is cooperating! Please try to hang in there. You've already waited so long.

I've never heard about having to wait until a certain number of days after your period. Has there been a study done on this? hmmm... Maybe you could call doc back and say you are under too much stress and pain and that you want it done soon, regardless. See what he says. It's your body and you are your own best advocate. Sdtme: I know how you feel, and I have walked where you have walked in regard to insurance. I am glad it got worked out, and that it was a "big mistake" and you didn't have to play the trick pony and jump through hoops of fire.
