White Flag!!!!

Ok, I am a little over 5 wk post-op and 2 wks ago I began spotting....still going! Then I developed a yeast infection and I never get those, I haven't had one since I was like 19 and now to top it all off I have strep throat, which, by the way I have never had before either.

I am suppose to return to work on thursday and I am falling apart!!!!

Maybe you got the yeast inf. from an antibiotic? Ask your doctor for the pill for the yeast inf. I thought I had one too about 10 post op. It turned out to be some sort of infection I needed an antibiotic for. Use some anti-itch cream on the outside area for comfort. I hope you feel better soon. I went back to work at 2 1/2 weeks. Please be careful when you go back to work even though it will be 6 weeks.

White Flag!!!!

The yeast infection started last week, I saw my Dr's partner cause my Dr is on vacation. I just started my antibiodics last night. I believe its from having to use panty liners every day for the last 2wks. I have always had problems with pads and always used tampons, which I cannot use now and really don't want too. I just want the bleeding to stop. I work at a job that has me on my feet 80% of the time and also lifting. And luck me I also have rheumatoid arthritis which has flared up since surgery.

If you're not ready to go back to work, ask your Doctor to sign you out for another week or two or at least to send you back half days for a week or two so your body can adjust.
