Private subject but need to tell . . .

I am 6 days home and feel great.

I posted earlier but only a few people read it so I will touch on the subject once again for any of you that are wondering about this very thing.

I had labia-plasty (reduction) done also during TAH. Mine had stretched considerably since pregnancy 7 years ago. It interferred with daily life. The feeling of not having wiped after going to the bathroom, uncomfortable in jeans and especially in workout gear, ingrown hairs after intercourse and it really was unattractive (in my eyes anyway - DH never said anything). After research on the internet I called around. I was having a tummy tuck with the TAH so I called my plastic surgeons office - they didn't do it but to check with my gyno. He had done some before but there was a new technique and I was willing to be his first for this. It is said to help reduce scar tissue which has been the problem in the past. I think it helped to have it done while under a spinal and general. I don't think this would be pleasant if done under a local but I could be wrong. Insurance does cover it if it interfers with daily life. Other wise it is relativley inexpensive $50 - $150. I will say that it is has been very tender and sore and purple and swollen but I feel that in the end it will be worth it. SO - in case any of you were wondering about this but were afraid to ask I wanted to share my story so that it would help others decide. Don't be embarrased.

Good Luck to all the princesses to be this week!

Dawn

Private subject but need to tell . . .

Dawn,

Thank you for sharing on this very private subject. I've never heard of this issue before but the beauty of Hyster Sisters is I learn new things quite often. I'm glad you were able to get the problem taken care of.

Since you're also a new Princess please let me remind you that proper princess training is in order. Make sure you get plenty of , a little each day and lots of liquids. You only have one chance to heal properly and this is it.

HI Dawn, Thanks for speaking up about this subject. Although I have not heard of it personally I'm sure there are women who could really use this information. Thanks for stepping forward to help others. It's amazing what can be done to help women. We're all here to share and help.

Blessings,
TC
