bladder infection before surgery?

Hi all,


I had my pre-op on tuesday ( blood, urine, the whole bit), Dr's office called today to tell me I had bladder infection and they would be calling in some antibiotics, when i asked about my surgery tomorrow all they said was take one tonight then continue after the surgery. My question now is will it complicate surgery? Has anyone else had a hyst with bladder infection? I know i can ask the Dr tomorrow before surgery but just wondering if any of you have had the same?

LETS HOPE NO CANCELLATIONS HERE, I FEEL LIKE I HAVE A HOLE IN MY BLADDER BUT NO PAIN...I HATE THIS FEELING IT IS SOOOOO UNCOMFORTABLE, I KNOW ITS HORMONES AND I HAVE NO BLADDER PAIN BUT I GOTTA PEE EVERY 1/2 HR AND I AM GETTING NUTS HERE...GOOD LUCK, YOU WILL PROBABLY GET ANTIBIOTICS ANYWAY WITH SURGERY......HUGS, dENNA
