LSH: Bladder Pain? Any ideas?

Hi girls!

I just wonder if anyone else is having trouble with their bladder? My bladder aches from the pressure of my gigantic uterus! =) That's a little dramatic but good lord ... I have been keeping track and I have go to the bathroom (usually desperately!) 14-18 times a day...it's driving me crazy ... keeping me up at night .... **crabby**

(a little background ... I'm scheduled for my LSH BSO 1/8/2010. I have an 11 year history of endometriosis and fibroids. The last UL I had (in 6/09) my dr. said there are 10 fibroids, of varying size, that she could see but there were maybe more. Apparently when there are that many and as close together as mine are, they are hard to identify?) I've had five pelvic surgeries (I'm 36) and my uterus is the size of a 12 week pregnancy ... I'm 5'4 and 128-130#s so my swelly belly is (feels like it is) really noticable!)

Does anyone have any tips, ideas, tricks, methods of coping with an angry bladder? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I have the same feelings! I just try to reduce my beverage intake at the end of the day so that I am not up all night.
