Surgery on Thur

I have to admit I am a bit on edge about this surgery and how it will effect my life, I am also so not looking forward to the prep on wed! LOL any advice is greatly welcomed

Just wanted to say hello and tell you, I also am scheduled for Thursday for TAH BSO. Not sure what time yet..playing the lovely waiting game. I'm not even sure what kind of bowel prep I have to do. I had instructions when surgery was first scheduled(cancelled 2 x), have to go pick up paper work today along w all the prep items. Yesterday was a complete wasted day, I got nothing accomplished. About to get busy..I haven't even packed my bag or went to store yet. OH my! I noticed we are same age. What kind of surgery are you having done? Good luck to you! I hope you hang around and see ya on the other side.

I'm also having surgery on Thursday - a da Vinci laparoscopic procedure (not sure of the acronym) with removal of the uterus and tubes. My gyn has said nothing about bowel prep, for whatever reason. I do have GasX at the ready to bring to the hospital with me, should I need it.

I'm feeling pretty scatterbrained at work, too. Fortunately I'm working from home tomorrow, so I can get all my last minute things (packing, cleaning) done.
