LAVH 1 week post hysterectomy: Stinging pain in lower abdomen

My surgery was one week ago today. I'm having a lot of pain (stinging) in lower abdomen below lap incisions. Initially was just on left side ... that has subsided. Now for past 2 days only on the right side. Happens when I stand and intensifies when I sit or stand. I have been icing while sitting or lying down which does relieve pain but as soon as I stand, it's back. Does this warrant a call to my Doc? My follow-up appointment is scheduled for 3/17. Any ideas on how to relieve this pain?

I have had stinging on the right side of my incision so far (a week now). I had a partial hysterectomy.

When my nurse called last week to check on me I mentioned it. She said it's normal.
