5w postop appt-- pain & bleeding. Normal?

I had my TAH/BSO on 6/15/11. Recovery has been pretty darn easy after a bit of a vaginal cuff infection about a week and a half after the surgery, and I've been quite active the past 3 weeks or so. I've had occasional pain on the left side of my incision/pelvis that has been really bad, but after taking a couple naproxen, it goes away and it only happens when I really overdo it.

I had my '6 week' post op appointment today at 5w2days. External incision is fantastic. Swelly belly is non-existent and my activity level has also been re-strengthening my abdominal/pelvic muscles. Depo Provera has done a fantastic with keeping the hot flashes and other hormonal ups and downs under control, and we're going to do one more shot of that. Estrogen therapy is out of the question due to both my mother and grandmother (who died from it) having estrogen sensitive aggressive breast cancer, so there won't be any of that.

The pelvic exam astounded me-- there was no pain with it. A little discomfort, but nothing anywhere near pain. I've NEVER had a pelvic exam without horrible pain.
Per my doctor, my vaginal cuff is almost completely healed. He started me on Estrace cream 3 times a week to help with healing.
When I left, everything was fine. No pain. All was good.

About 3 or 4 hours later, the cramping & horrible pain started. It's can't-stand-up-straight, hunched over & nauseous type pain. And I'm bleeding now as well-- not super heavily or anything, but enough where I went looking to see if I still had any pads left (I haven't had any bleeding since my surgery).
I've taken some naproxen & it's not even touched it. At all.

Is this normal??
