LAVH: Had Pre-Op and Now Surgery is 1 day Earlier-eek!

Had my pre-op yesterday. It was pretty uneventful, just urine test and some blood drawn, signed consent, etc. Doctor answered all of my questions. Hubby was there so I was glad.

Surgery was scheduled for Tuesday 6/2, but doc came in and asked if I could do it Monday- apparently the operating room schedule is jammed Tuesday and it couldn't be done before 5pm- he doesn't like to do that time for people who are fasting (nice doctor!)

So- a day less I have to get ready around here, but work's transitions are going smoothly and I got a lot done around the house yesterday.

Now it's off to my college reunion tonight- we're staying over in the dorms- isn't that a hoot? My old roommates are coming to town and we're going to check in after dinner.

Thanks for listening ladies- and now I have 1 less day to worry before it's all over.

Kind of will work out good- having one less day to worry & having surgery earlier in the day too!

Wow that is nice, mine is on the 5th, last week the scheduler asked me if I wanted to have mine on the 2nd! I was excited at first until I went down my mental list of things I would have to change and realized my DH would be at work the whole time!

I declined.

one less day to worry! I, too, am having a LAVH on Monday June 1st. I am new here and I already feel like am a part of the family!!! I am with you in spirit and surgerery! lol! God Bless you.
