Still in pain (almost 9 months post-op)

Almost 9 months post op for me after my TAH BSO, and I still have pain. Before surgery, I had pain in my left leg and where my ovary was. I figured it would go away once surgery was removed, and the reason for a cyst was gone. So far, the pain has returned and it's been here all week. In addition to this, I am having pains (and gas issues ) in my abdomen. Anyone else having these problems...are they normal?????

Hi QwnBee!
Sorry you're still having such pain.
Have your talked to your doc about this? Sometimes the pain you think is one thing can be coming from something else. You mentioned gas problems- are you having other problems with digestion? Do you exercise regularly and eat a diet with lots of fiber?
I might try to see a GI doc if I were you. There was a post on here from another sister about pelvic congestion where veins or arteries (cant' remember which) become enlarged and can cause ongoing pain. Anyway some possibilities you could check out with your doc.
Hope you get some relief soon!
