Partial in 4 days

Hi all! I'm scheduled for a partial hysterectomy on 12/13 because of fibroids getting a lil nervous. Glad my friend referred this site to me it is very helpful. Had a myomectomy 6 years ago recovery wasn't bad at all I'm hoping this will go the same way. Trying not to get depressed about it because I don't have any children. I know with prayer everything will be okay.

Had a laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomy on Oct. 10th, 2012 for fibroids.
I was so scared! Understandably so.
Spent one night in the hospital and went home to recover there.
I had a great recovery. Pretty much "by the book".
Everything the doctor prepared me for was what happened.
I'm so happy I went though with the surgery. The pain from the fibroids is gone! No more periods!
Hang in there! This site is the best!!!!
Just plan on lots of rest. About 6 weeks. You will feel tired a lot.
There is a light at the end of the tunnel.
