What do all the initials mean?

I have been reading and posting on the cancer thread for the past couple of weeks but since my surgery is in 2 weeks I decided it was time to move to this site and learn what I will be dealing with but I am so confused!!! Is there someplace I can go here that explains what all the different initials stand for when others are telling what procedure they are having? I feel like I need to learn a new language and I need a cheat sheet. Thanks for any help because I am clueless.

Thanks Pooodle, that sure helps. I always wondered what DH ment, I knew it stood for husband but now I know it means dear husband. Now i can be in the loop with everyone else. Thanks again.
