cuff issue/granulation/silver nitrate

So I am now 8 weeks outand STILL not healed! My internal stitches at my cuff look the same as 2 weeks ago The dr. did do silver nitrate on one spot and just shrugged off my not being healed and told me to come back in 3 weeks. I am sooooo tired of this and am now regretting the whole surgery! Has anyone had luck with the silver nitrate helping?? Any suggestions on how to make my stitches dissolve finally?

Re: cuff issue/granulation/silver nitrate

I don't think there is anything you can do to make the stitches dissolve faster. Your body will do what it needs to do in its own time. I am sorry that your recovery is not progressing as quickly as you would like but this is a long term proposition. It takes six months to a year to be completely healed. You are going to have to be patient in the meantime.
