Please tell me I'm not the only wimp on this board!

It's helped and doesn't make me feel as wacked out as the percocet. I find I sleep best with the elastic binder they sent me home with. Last night I took it off and I find I wake up early having nightmares when the pain spikes up.

PCA pump, I requested the pump with my doctor and coming out of surgery found out she didn't order it for me. Well this is one tuff sister that wants control over my own pain and not depend on some nurse to answer the call button, (bad experience with previous surgery). I had my nurse track down another doctor to put the order in for me. So my happy button and I had a pretty good night after LAVH/BSO.

Sister you are in control of your pain and you have the right as a patient to have your needs tended to. So you let your doctor know whats going on and he/she will help you, who know's maybe there is some other things going on that are causing you additional pain. Don't stop until you know whats up.
