I made it!!!

Hello everyone!!!

I only have a couple of minutes to post so this will be short!!! By order of DH! LOL Who I'll add is taking very wonderful care of me, both DS's are also doing a great job!! Won't ever be able to gripe about them again!

I went to castle Thursday morn at 5 AM and went into surgery at 8 AM, waiting was rough but nurses were great and caring, they did give me meds. for my sick tummy and let me take one of my Xanax. So that helped so much.
Then I was off to the about to be a princess holding room and got those yummy warm toasty blankets and from then on I don't remember very much until much later that night.

It was done LAVH and I did get to keep my left ovary. Uterus was full of Adenomyosis and had Endo on back of it, explains my back problems, right ovary had cysts on and in it. But left looked good and tube looked good so very kind DR let me keep it. Which I am glad of.

I'm sore and tired but DEFINITELY better than I was before the surgery. Amazing isn't it. I only have 3 very small incisions on my belly, 1 by my belly button and 2 down by my hairline. These are not even big enough for a band-aid!!!
The gas is uncomfortable but not terrible.
LIW listen to us drink that water and walk when the DR & nurses tell you too.....this helps get that gas moving!! The poor lady in bed next to me did not listen and had a bit of pain. So WATER, warm juice, & walk!!!

I had morphine pump unitl 6 AM Friday morn, then out came the IV and I started Percocet (sp?) and am still using this and it is working fine. I came home 4 PM Friday. I had been drinking my water and urinating a good amount, passing gas, and walking which is the only way they'll let you out of the castle!!!

So I'm home and on the couch and feel fine. I am sleeping a lot, and am taking it really easy letting DH & DS's do everything.
I just had to thank everyone for the posts, messages, and mail of support. I haven't been able to read all my mail and answer it yet my DH is reading it to me.

I'll be back as soon as DH gives me the release to play on the computer. DR said I had to be a couch potato for a week so I would say it will be that long at least.
I'm glad I type fast or I wouldn't have had a chance to get all this out. I've been dying to post and hear from all you.

LIW I know the waiting is soooo hard and it is (I now have my chance to repeat this message) the worst part. I'm a big baby and am not hurting I honestly feel pretty good...so hang in there ladies!

I miss you all and can't wait to get back.
Good luck to everyone who's castle time is approaching and take care of yourselves.
To all who have just come home be good princess's and let yourself be pampered!

I finally got it!!!!!!!!!!!!

God Bless all of You and Love to ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
