11 days post hysterectomy: Full feeling in vagina?

Hi,
I had a complete hysterectomy on 3/9 and the past couple of days I've had a full/pressure feeling in my vagina. It almost feels like a tampon is coming out but obviously I'm not using tampons. Could it just be swelling? My dr said not to worry about it as long as I'm not bleeding. Anyone else experience this?

I've got that too. I try not to think about it. Lay down or shift couch positions when I feel that way. Use ice packs.

Yes I had that for weeks. I'm 5.5 weeks now and if I sit for a few hours it starts up again. Laying flat takes the pressure off. It worried me a lot as I didn't know if it was normal but now I can see it's all part of the healing process.

Rest up with an ice pack xx

Thank you!! I was worried about the cuff and something being wrong with that. I'll be glad once I see the doctor for my post op in a couple of days.

OMG I HAD IT TOO! I was all freaked out thinking things were falling out....but like the other girls said it seems to happen when youre on your feet too long or over do it some. I'm 4 weeks post op and have my doc appt. tomorrow.....hoping everything is healing ok!

I have had it off and on since week 3, pretty much when I've been on my feet a bit each day. I can't figure out if the fullness is inside or maybe the outside is swelling?
