Breast/nipple soreness

I'm about 6 weeks post op (I had my ovaries removed along with my uterus) and in this last week I've noticed breast soreness (main area where its sore is around the nipple.) Would anyone know what might be causing them to be sore? When I used to get my period I never had soreness in my breast area. The last time I had any soreness around that area was when I went through puberty.

I have heard that this can be hormone related. Although I kept both ovaries my nipples were sore last week and someone said something about my hormones being out of whack. Are you taking a HRT or anything?
