3 weeks post hysterectomy: Pelvic organ prolapse- specifically possible vaginal prolapse

I'm pretty sure that I have experienced a Pelvic organ prolapse-specifically the vagina. I am very scared about the weird feeling and it causes pain because if I am sitting for a long time when I get up my vagina aches. Has anyone experienced this, and is this normal?

You're only three weeks out from surgery, Bella Luna. What you're experiencing is fairly normal at this point.

It's doubtful. Please, try to relax. The incredible pressure is your vagina and new vaginal cuff, swelling. I also had pain and pressure in my rectum at 3 weeks post op. Many, many other women reported the exact same things.

Do try to relax, and rest. Ibuprofen or Aleve both work really well for the swelling. I found soaking a pad with water, freezing it and wearing it in my underpants helpful. A heating pad on my belly felt nice. 3 weeks post-op, despite long being off narcotics, I was still struggling with constipation and plain and simple indigestion all of the time. Drinking lots of water, eating prunes, and sticking to a light and healthy diet really helped me. I bet it would help you, too.

I know exactly how you feel, I felt the same thing week 3. Reading from other woman who say this is normal makes me feel so much better. Understand how you are feeling and how it stresses you out. Hopefully we will get over this feeling soon.
