Push gas or not

Hey ladies I know we are all gased up these days and I've been getting my fair share of gas-x, however to desperse this lovely aroma in the air I need to push alittle and hold a pillow to my tummy to do so . Is this to much pushing? each time I need to I grab my pillow and my DH lets the warning to the family" Watch out she's going to blow" If I don't push it just takes another trip around and that hurts more. Help

A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. It seems like it is ok. The gas isn't the same force as when having a BM and you just have to get it out. I think if it hurts a lot try not to be too foreful, but gently push. I had some repairs done too and I know every thing that moved 'down there' was so painful for a while, even gas. I didn't have any complications from it though.

Getting up and moving around is a big help to keep the gas moving out naturally. Don't over do, but try to move as much as you can without causing more pain.

Rita's right, walking or even just shifting position helped me get rid of that gas when I was newly post-op. Just take it slow and easy and have your pillow handy for when needed
