Something our GYN's either deny exists or says will get better. I am not the same in anyway. I am ready to throw 12 years of a relationship in the trash. I try but can not get along with my husband. I don't do anything with my child or dog and holidays were a joke. I have no interest in anything and if I get it it lasts for a few minutes. I stopped smoking cigarettes 1.1.08, that is going well. I applied for 14 jobs and got hired for NONE. That is not going well. My house is a mess, the bills are behind (that is my chore). I took the dog out after my husband and I argued this afternoon, the dog ran away... I sat in the snow and cried. The neighbor came out, I felt like a fool and she even said I haven't been the same since the surgery.... I now require one floor living and HAVE NO LUCK finding a place.
OMG....I am so very sorry for all that you are going through. I feel emotionally a mess every day. I agree with many of the other people that HRT is in order. When I had my TAH I came out of it a ball of nerves...but after a while it got alot better...hormones had to kick in again. Hope that things get better soon.

I had the hysterectomy due to Depo Provera I took it for birth control but it made me bleed non top for 9 months. Sometimes I wish I would have stuck it out to see if it stopped, by how much could one person take.

I am so sorry that you are having these problems. I have similar problems when I do not take the premarin. I do not get mean I get extremely depressed. I was sent home with the prescription but I did not take it for the first week and as each day passed I cried more and more (never a crier before), I also noticed that I had a desire to withdraw from people (normally a social butterfly), and thought about dying all of the time....(not killing myself but that something was going to go wrong and I was going to die). My DH begged me to take the HRT, so I did and about three days after taking it, I started to feel like my old self. I know it was the hormones that helped because after a month I ran out and forgot to get the refill and after about three days I started feeling that same way again. Please talk to you doctor, do not feel crazy, you may just need help with hormones.

O yeah. BTW ...I am still more withdrawn that I used to be but I am hoping this will get better the longer I am on HRT.

brb,
how much Premarin are you on...we are close in age and I have the same symptoms that you described, just wondering. Really I am grasping at straws to pull me out of this funk.
