blood blister

I have a blister filled with pus and blood 1 inch left of my incision. It is a little bigger than a quarter and is oozing some. I have just been keeping it clean with alcohol so It doesn't get infected. It is not warm around it, kind of paler skin around the blister, no fever.
has anyone had this before and what should I do? Seeing the Dr on Friday.
although I would like to stick a needle in it and pop it, lol, I will NOT do that!!

Re: blood blister

I had two blood blisters at my incision site rite at the cut line. Now mine did not have any pus it was just dark blood just like if you were to pinch your finger real hard. They were both about the size of a nickle. It took a few weeks but they finally faded and healed. With the pus though you may want to call your doc just in case. And yes I agree do not pop it. Good luck lady and keep us posted as to what happens.
