Question

I am going to see a uro/gyn but i also have issues with endometriosis to the point where I might need a bowel resection. Is this something the uro/gyns deal with too or do they have to consult with another specialist? If they have to consult, how long does it take for them to coordinate with the other dr? If I had to have my appendix or gallbladder removed with my hysterectomy surgery and pelvic reconstruction would they do that too?

I called <> and the information line told me that I would have to discuss that with my dr because every case is different but I was just wondering if anyone here went through something similar and had any insight

Question

I have endrometriosis in my colon and my gyn referred me to a corectol surgeon. I had a colonosopy, a CT scan and a flexi scope. The corectorel surgeon has cooridinated with my gyn to be at my hysterecomy and will do whatever needs to be done. I'm assuming that that either surgeon will be able to take out my appendix if necessary. I have an appointment with both on Monday, Dec. 3 so I intend to ask.
