Dizziness - 5 weeks post-op

Has anyone experienced dizziness after their hysterectomy. My surgery was 5 weeks ago today. I had dizzy spells about a week after surgery when I would lie down at night and when I got up in the morning. These spells lasted for about a week. I attributed them to my hormones being out of whack. I have not had any more until last night. Hubby and I were just playing around (no intercourse for another week) and I had a bad dizzy spell when I rolled over in the bed and when I got up.

Could this be my hormones reacting to arousal or what? I had dizziness back in June that was attributed to anemia, but this is different.

I did keep both my ovaries. No more uterus or cervix.
Okay sisters, anybody had this problem?

Hi (((DewBird)))

I had dizziness too. There are a number of things that can cause dizziness, including hormones, low iron, inner ear issues, or low blood pressure. Have you talked to your doctor about this? Perhaps they will have a solution for you. Hope you find an answer soon!

Hello...I just found your post after doing a search on dizziness. I am 4 weeks post op and have been experiencing extreme dizziness all day...to the point I am really starting to worry. Did you ever find what was the cause?
I don't know if you are still active on Hyster Sisters but thought I'd ask.
Thanks so much!
