What to do with the stockpile...

I am sure many of you stockpiled feminine products. I did not have much time from my tests to my surgery date. I stocked up thinking I would have at least 2 more rounds of heck before surgery. They got me the day I started my next cycle. So I had been thinking what to do with all of it. I am donating it to a local woman's shelter/ crisis center.
What did you all do with yours?

Re: What to do with the stockpile...

I have a 24 yo step daughter that I hope will be needing them for a while to come. I am going to offer mine to her.
Otherwise, will probably offer them to a women's shelter.

I'm going to take what is left with me to my post op appt and let them put it in their ladies room. They have a basket full of femmy products in there.

Re: What to do with the stockpile...

those are good ideas. I gave my stock pile away to my sister in law - i didn't realize how much I had around the house, out at camp, I never knew when I was going to bleed, and when I did, I couldn't predict if it was going to be heavy or lite, so I had a lot all over - No mens is going to be treat

Re: What to do with the stockpile...

I'm giving them to my teenage daughters! I've yet to begin going through all my purses and removing all my products. It's so nice not to have to worry with that anymore!

Re: What to do with the stockpile...

I gave 1/2 to my housekeeper (both she & her daughter can use them) and 1/2 to a good friend. They were thrilled!

Re: What to do with the stockpile...

Give them to anyone else that gets their period. Womens shelter, or even a local school. The nurse could take them and save them for girls coming to her office unprepared.

Re: What to do with the stockpile...

Those are some great ideas. I think I may donate mine to the local soup kitchen. They give out non-perishable products should anyone need it.

Re: What to do with the stockpile...

I gave them to my friends. Never thought about a woman's shelter. I am sure I will find more stuck here and there as time goes on, maybe those I can donate.
